Miss “C” was here and she brought her big smile and managed to bring out her eyebrows at me once in a while. She would look at me as if to say, “what do you want me to do, lady?” then the next moment she would be all big smiles and sparkly eyes. She is so full of different moods all in the matter of seconds and it is precious! Her mommy and daddy adore her to the end of the earth. Enjoy!
What’s goin’ on?/Central Illinois Children Photographer
Hi all! I have been neck deep in some new software, figuring out the hows and whats of it, and new things are coming….for YOU!
Starting March 1st, new pricing will go into affect. As you may have read in my newsletter, all of the portraits will be mounted and sprayed with a protective coating. This includes 4x6s and 5x7s. You will still be able to get the 4x6s unmounted for scrap-booking and albums when you meet certain criteria in your order. There will be boutique services and products. You will automatically get designing help that will help you get portraits and frames that will go perfectly on your walls. I have a frame company that provides custom, hand painted frames in a huge variety of colors, shapes and designs. I have a new line of jewelry that has some of the most unique pieces.
Here is some of what you could expect. Look at those frames and the images and how it all goes into those rooms! We will build these looks together and I will help guide you all the way. No more unframed portraits sitting in the closet or under the bed. Of course, you can still get unframed, mounted and sprayed portraits that you can frame yourself. But this will help us design and see the results before you buy a thing. How fun is that?!
Wow, Julie! This looks amazing!!!02/11/2013 - 2:17 pm
Miss “L”, my heart/Peoria area studio photographer/Short Stories Photography
My heart was back to visit. Miss “L” is growing up so fast. It is so apparent every time we see her now that she lives in another state. We actually have gotten to see her every month since they moved and are really lucky that we get to see her that often. I never get tired of hearing about what is going on in her life, school and home….how her fish is doing, her dog, how her room looks now and what posters she has in there. Isn’t that supposed to be when she is much older? We bought tickets for her and her mom to see Justin Bieber last October and I never get tired of hearing how much she enjoyed that. Growing up….too fast….sigh.
She always looks so pretty.02/04/2013 - 9:49 pm

Miss “E” came to the studio with her big eyes and sweet smile. She loves her toes and dressing up in tutus. I could photograph her all day. Enjoy!
Baby “K” was here/ Central Illinois newborn photographer/Short Stories Photography
Oh! Baby “K”….what a sweetheart! I am so happy that her family brought her here from Iowa to get her newborn portraits done. She was a dream to photograph, so I got both awake and sleeping images. You know those noise machines? There is an app for that. He heh! Works every time. Enjoy!

Baby “D”/Central Illinois newborn photographer/Short Stories Photography
I love to photograph newborns! Baby “D” was so sweet and content. But he didn’t want to miss anything, so he was wide awake for his session. He sure kept his eye on me while I was getting out those cuddly blankets and furs. Doesn’t he look “all boy”? Enjoy!
